We are an established concrete construction company with a reputation based on quality and professionalism. We operate with lean, highly efficient crews and are looking for an additional extremely skilled Concrete Finisher with leadership and supervisory experience to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively by following protocols.
- Act as one of our main lead finishers—handling layout, screeding, float work, power troweling, and specialty finishes.
- Run a small crew (<5 workers) by delegating daily duties, ensuring safety compliance, and keeping jobs on schedule.
- Act as a professional representative of our company, interacting respectfully with customers, fellow workers, and the public.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Follow instruction/direction from supervisors, managers, and leadership staff.
- Use basic technology, such as emails and common construction tools, to upload project photos, follow checklists, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled in either concrete finishing or carpentry (required).
- Extremely professional (required).
- Good judgment and problem solving skills, including the ability to solve layout, mix, site challenges, etc. wisely and independently. (required)
- Comfortable using basic technology, including emails and common construction apps.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract (to operate crew trucks).
- Standard First Aid (Alberta Level C) or a willingness to obtain.
- Prior experience leading/supervising concrete projects.
Rate of pay commensurate with experience.
Pay: $33.00-$42.00 per hour
