Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for assisting with medication administration, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to patients. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and have a keen interest in pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain organized inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Process prescription orders and manage medication refills.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and protocols.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations.
- Experience working in a retail PHARMACY .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
