H&M Food Ltd is a growing leader in the food processing industry. We pride ourselves on efficiency, quality, and a collaborative multicultural work environment. We are currently seeking a technically-minded, bilingual Machine Operator to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Efficiently set up, operate, and shut down food processing machinery according to H&M Food Ltd’s production schedules.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Perform routine equipment changeovers and minor mechanical troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime.
- Technical Communication: Read and interpret technical manuals and machine displays in Mandarin; communicate effectively with both local teams and overseas technical support if required.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards to ensure the highest product quality.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial machinery (food or beverage industry preferred).
- Language: Professional fluency in Mandarin (speaking and reading) is required.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on mechanical knowledge; comfortable using basic tools for machine adjustments and diagnostics.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically capable of lifting and moving a minimum of 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex recipes and technical specifications with high accuracy.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
