Heat Treater - Operator
A local steel Heat Treating organization is seeking a Heat Treat Labourer and Operator to learn the preparation, testing, co-ordination, processing documentation and fulfilment of heat treating work orders meeting established safety, quality and workflow standards. Located in Ajax Ontario the successful candidate will be fluent in English, learn new skills and become a positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, cleaning, packing customer parts.
- Loading equipment
- Receiving of customer parts ensuring accuracy and conformance.
- Processing orders according to customer requirements, specified procedures and industry standards.
- Material handling via crane and tow motor (tow motor license an asset).
- Quality inspection and conformance (ISO training an asset).
- Perform basic maintenance and equipment repair as required.
- Complete all paperwork and data management as required.
- Packaging, wrapping and preparing orders for shipping.
- On going assist in plant cleanliness and organization.
- Answering phone if required.
- Ensure all work is performed within all health and safety standards and regulations.
Skills / Qualifications
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Must be a team player.
- Heat Treating experience is a valuable asset
- Must be able to work in Canada.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will perform heat treating tasks and performing quality inspections.
