Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and food assembly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with food storage, labeling, and organization of ingredients
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with plating when needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools as required
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from kitchen staff
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
