Responsibilities
The Supportive Roommate must provide in-home support for 2-3 weekends a month. They would be providing personal care and support the client with their activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing support with all areas of daily living including life skills such as budgeting, household management, grocery shopping, meal preparation, health and medical support, transportation and support in active recreation (bowling, swimming, etc.).
Qualifications & Requirements

Willingness to do personal care required

Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges

Experience providing behavioural supports to clients

Vehicle is may be required for this position

Comfortable with going to sports bars and attending sports events with client and supporting them

Ability to help client balance social outings and relaxation time
