Human Resources Generalist

With multiple clinic locations across Calgary and surrounding areas, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our people, culture, and talent initiatives.
About the Role
This is a hands-on HR role supporting the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, HR administration, employee engagement and recruitment. The successful candidate will partner with leaders across the organization to help attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employee relations by responding to employee and manager inquiries, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and helping foster a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and coaching conversations.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, reporting, and HR systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support leave management, policy administration, and compliance with Alberta Employment Standards and HR best practices.
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives across the organization.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Assist in recruitment for clinical and administrative positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring support.
Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, including HR administration, crucial conversations and recruitment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Allied healthcare or multi-site experience is an asset.
