Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Pizza Maker and Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and providing a positive dining experience. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and organizing ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas
- Serve customers at the counter or in the dining area, providing friendly and attentive service
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
