Our new cafe is hiring a barista to join our small but fast-moving team. We're a quality-driven café known for intentional service, a tight menu, and good vibes—no corporate scripts, just great coffee made by people who care.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves connecting with customers, and takes pride in doing things well. This role goes beyond just pulling shots—you’ll be a key part of the day-to-day rhythm, from espresso and food prep to keeping the space running smoothly.
Whether you’re a seasoned barista or newer but eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks with consistency and care
- Handle busy service periods with calm and efficiency
- Provide a warm, authentic customer experience (not just "customer service")
- Prep and serve a small menu of sandwiches and baked goods
- Serve retail clientele
- Collaborate with the team and contribute ideas as we grow
Requirements:
- Previous café customer service experience is MANDATORY
- Morning and weekend (Sat & Sun) availability REQUIRED
- Comfortable working on your feet for long periods
- A genuine interest in good coffee, good food, and good people
- Ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure
