Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic (310s and 310t) to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Mechanic will play a vital part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
- Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems to identify root causes
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various machinery and systems
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as needed
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
