We're looking for qualified abatement workers to assist on multiple asbestos abatement projects in and around Summerside, PEI.
THE JOB
- Build and take down plastic barriers, warning signs, and decontamination chambers
- Cut, bag, and label asbestos materials for proper disposal while wearing proper PPE and following decontamination procedures
- Run negative-air machines and specialized remediation equipment
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
- $18.00 - $25.00/hr + 4% vacation pay, based on experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean-shaven and able to wear a fit-tested respirator
- Valid Type 3 Asbestos Abatement Certification
- Reliable and willing to work in a physically demanding environment
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots
