Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various outdoor and indoor projects related to agriculture, landscaping, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, irrigation systems, and farm machinery operation while contributing to the upkeep and development of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting tasks required for material handling and project setup
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems and horticultural projects
- Operate farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Prunning of trees, maintanance of orchard that is of 100 acres.
- Harvesting of apple crop in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Support planting, pruning, watering, and other horticultural activities as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
- Manually removing the weed from the ground, specifically from in between the trees.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
- Experience with irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and farm machinery preferred
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with attention to safety standards
- Experience - 1- less than 7 months
- Education - No education or degree required.
