We are seeking an experienced, safety-driven Millwright Foreman to lead and support our rotating team. The Millwright Foreman will be responsible for supervising Journeypersons and Apprentices, coordinating daily work activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage crews in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You Will Do
- Supervise, mentor, and support Journeyperson Millwrights and Apprentices in daily tasks
- Plan and coordinate mechanical work based on drawings, schedules, and project requirements
- Allocate manpower, tools, and materials to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, installation, alignment, and maintenance of rotating and static equipment
- Conduct regular tailgate meetings and reinforce a strong safety culture on site
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide crew work
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, turbines, and other industrial equipment
- Perform precision alignment, balancing, and equipment calibration using appropriate tools and techniques
- Oversee equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and condition monitoring programs
- Verify that installations meet specifications, tolerances, and safety standards
- Review and approve work plans, job hazard assessments, and material takeoffs
- Perform routine worksite inspections to maintain quality and safety compliance
- Identify hazards, defects, and required repairs, ensuring timely corrective actions
- Enforce all company and industry safety standards
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure housekeeping is completed daily
- Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate workflow
- Track project progress and provide updates, documentation, and cost estimates as required
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) Apprenticeship Program
- Valid Journeyperson Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) Certification
- Minimum 5 years of millwright/mechanical experience in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices
- Proven ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery
- Experience with precision alignment, rigging, and mechanical installations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and industry regulations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Valid safety tickets (e.g., CSTS, H2S Alive, WHMIS) considered an asset
