Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to support our residential interior renovation projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in various aspects of tear-out, installation, and finishing of home and apartment interiors. We work throughout the lower mainland and the southern parts of Vancouver Island.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Under supervision, assisting with demolition, removal/disposal of old materials, moving new materials and fixtures to the job site, installing cabinets and other fixtures, basic plumbing and electrical work
- Clean up job site at the end of each day
Requirements:
- Fluent English and proven customer service skills
- Prior experience in construction-related tasks
- Clean driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Ability to travel 2 to 3 days per week to Vancouver Island, with ferry, private hotel room, and meals paid for
- A positive attitude, punctuality, and a clean & tidy appearance
- Ability to work in a small team and follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials
