Job Summary
Due to unprecedented requests for our services, we're growing again and looking to open up another crew.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Renovator to oversee and execute residential and commercial renovation projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills, extensive knowledge of construction techniques, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
This role involves managing various aspects of renovation, restoration, and construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
The Lead Carpenter / Renovator will play a critical role in project planning, execution, and client satisfaction.
- Ability to carry a renovation project from start to finish without supervision
- Demonstrate versatility across multiple trades
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction renovation, or related fields with leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and schedule accordingly
- Connect with sub-trades and schedule accordingly
- Ability to read and work from design plans
- Plan and order materials in conjunction with project manager
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Regular updates for project manager
- Troubleshoot and problem solve if necessary
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner
The ideal candidate will have;
- a minimum of 10 years experience in the renovation industry, with strong finishing skills
- a full G licence,
- access to a reliable vehicle to start (company vehicle will be available after probation period)
- basic hand tools.
