Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Involvement with work related to engagement assignments, including review and compilation, as well as personal and corporate tax returns
- Review of working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns prepared by other staff
- Preparation and completion of complex working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns for compilation, review, and audit engagements in accordance with firm and regulatory standards
- Assisting clients with compliance filings and responding to CRA‑related queries and inquiries on government programs
- Supporting clients with day‑to‑day business queries
- Assisting in the training and mentorship of junior staff
Qualifications & other Experience

CPA designation is required
- Minimum of three (3) years post‑designation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency with public accounting software such as CaseWare and Taxprep
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of government taxes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Expected Compensation Range
- $60,000 – $95,000 annually
- Compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. In certain situations, a candidate’s unique background or specialized expertise may warrant consideration slightly outside the posted range.
