Warehouse Order Picker
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Order Picker located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
The Order Picker position requires candidates with forklift licences. This position is for the shift beginning at 07:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order picking
- Wrapping orders when required
- Building stock on pallets in safe and logical manner
- Placing orders in correct staging areas
- Inputting information into the company computer system
- Communicating all shortages or discrepancies within an order to the Supervisor
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Ensuring all aisles are free from obstruction and that all strapping, shrink-wrapping, and empty boxes are cleared at all times; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift, order picker, and electric walkie certifications required
- Knowledge of RF scanners
- Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Reverse Reach, Counterbalance and electric walkie certifications
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed with the ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Minimum 3 years experience
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
