Mixer Truck Operator JOB# JCL149
JCL Investments is accepting resumes for a Mixer truck operator at our Concrete Operations in Conception Bay South.
Responsibilities:
- Drives mixer truck to customer locations throughout St. John’s and surrounding areas
- Operates mixer truck as required to place concrete in the desired locations
- Uses and cares for tools and equipment associated with the mixer truck
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of truck and equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safe work practices specified by federal, provincial and company rules.
- Provide consistent and reliable customer service.
- Perform other plant and yard duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Education and Professional experience:
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
- Clean Driver’s abstract
- Valid Power Line Hazards training
- Knowledge of Ready-Mix Operations
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating a mixer truck
- Good customer service skills
