Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on picking orders, loading and unloading shipments, managing inventory, and supporting the overall distribution process. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Pick orders as assigned, paying close attention to units of measure
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely, inspecting all incoming shipments for damages, overages, and shortages
- Perform warehouse distribution tasks, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of goods.
- Cross train with all warehouse roles to proficiently provide vacation and sick absence coverage
- Sweep aisles daily and other general warehouse cleaning
- Cycle count inventory items as requested
- Dispose of warehouse waste and recycling
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and man lifts to move products within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory using AHS's ERP system - Traverse Global
- Attend and participate in staff meetings
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
- Fork lift certification
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly Traverse Global
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
