We Need a Leader Who Can Build a Door-to-Door Team From the Ground Up
Custom Contracting is a local, family-owned company that's been serving homeowners since 1999. We're scaling our field sales operation for EavesArmour Gutter Protection — our own patented, Canadian-made product — and we're looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager to recruit, train, and lead our growing team of door-to-door representatives.
This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who has done this before — built a canvassing or door-to-door team, trained reps who actually produce, and led from the field, not from behind a desk.

What You'll Own
- Recruit and hire door-to-door representatives — build the pipeline, run the interviews, fill the roster
- Train and onboard new reps on product, pitch, objection handling, and field technique
- Lead from the field — ride along, coach in real time, set the pace by example
- Manage territories — assign and optimize neighbourhoods across our service area
- Hit team targets — own the daily and weekly appointment numbers for the whole crew
- Build the culture — create the kind of competitive, high-energy team that top performers want to be part of
- Develop your people — identify your best reps and grow them into closers and team leads
What You Must Bring
- Proven door-to-door / field sales management experience — you've built and led a canvassing or D2D team before, and you can speak to the numbers you drove
- A track record of recruiting and training reps who hit targets — not just managing existing ones
- Field leadership — you lead by doing, you've knocked doors yourself, and you can teach it
- The ability to motivate and retain a young, energetic team through the grind of field work
- Strong communication and coaching skills — you make people better
- Valid G-class driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Home improvement, roofing, solar, security, or similar D2D industry experience is a strong asset
