Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued.

Duties
- Secure the load using chains, binders and straps
- Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Experience in heavy hauling
Qualifications
- Interested candidates must have 5 to 7 years of experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation preferred.
- Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation purposes.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance at all times.
