Job Title: Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating backhoes for trench backfilling and hoe packing, with proficiency in utilizing a 4-in-1 bucket. Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a rubber tire backhoe to backfill trenches and perform hoepacking tasks.
- Utilize the 4-in-1 bucket effectively for various construction operations.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to determine daily tasks and project requirements.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Assist with other construction-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating rubber tire backhoes in a construction setting.
- Proficiency in using a 4-in-1 bucket for various tasks.
- Experience in trench backfilling and hoepacking operations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
