Title: Training Supervisor
Location: Simcoe, ON
Duration: 12 Months
Job Purpose:
- The purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation through employee engagement, training and upskilling. This role is crucial to ensure continuous operations and knowledge support to all employees across all shifts. This role is essential in fostering a positive and functional workplace atmosphere, contributing to overall employee satisfaction and productivity.
Note:
- Min 2+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Industry. Min 2yrs experience supervisory/ leadership experience.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Plantwide training planning and execution
- Oversee training coordinators
- Off shift employee training and execution
- Laise with other IC sites to formalize training agenda
- Identify skill gaps and adjust plan according to production needs
- Employee experience
- Employee onboarding
- Present weekly updates to Leadership Team on progress and gaps
- Execute all compliance training
- Provide updates on upskill plan at various levels with focus on department specific metrics.
- Schedule and book external trainings required
Must have:
- Ability to effectively handle and navigate digital systems to ensure accurate data management, facilitate communication, and oversee participant records.
- Experience in digitally managing appointments/ records/ information or similar via online systems.
- Competent user of IT systems with the ability to pick up new systems easily – you will have support and time to learn but need to be confident and independent in managing your learning and show rapid progress.
- Strong administration skills.
- Used to a fast-moving work environment with strong time management skills.
- Can show initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Professional telephone manner and communication skills.
