Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with routine maintenance and repair tasks on various machinery and equipment
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues through inspection and testing procedures
- Support in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of mechanical components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures during all tasks
- Document work performed accurately for maintenance records
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills
Experience
- No prior experience required; however, a strong interest in mechanics or technical fields is preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or related coursework is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn new techniques
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
