Bartender / Mixologist — Sauvage Restaurant (Canmore, AB)
Position Type: Full-time
Schedule: Evening shifts (primarily Thursday–Sunday), with flexibility for private events

Compensation: Hourly wage + tips, staff meals, wine education, and foraging opportunities
About the Role:
Sauvage is seeking an experienced bartender or mixologist with a passion for storytelling through spirits and a curiosity for the wild. This role goes beyond pouring drinks — it’s about crafting exceptional beverage experiences that align with our ethos of sustainability, locality, and creativity.
What You'll Do:
- Create and serve elevated cocktails using foraged ingredients, house infusions, and local spirits
- Guide guests through our curated wine list, with confidence in food and wine pairings
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to design seasonal beverage menus that reflect the current tasting menu
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring bar environment
- Contribute to inventory, ordering, and creative development
- Provide warm, attentive, and educational service that reflects the values of Sauvage
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years experience in a cocktail-forward or fine dining bar setting
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary mixology, wine, and spirits
- A passion for wild ingredients, sustainability, and seasonal sourcing
- Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and excited to learn
- Someone who wants to be part of a small, passionate team shaping something truly unique in the Rockies
