AZ Cross-Border Truck Driver – ShortHaul / LongHaul USA Routes

Job Summary
Connect AI Logistics is seeking experienced and reliable AZ Cross-Border Truck Drivers to join our team. Drivers will be responsible for transporting freight between Ontario and the West Coast United States.
Candidates must be eligible to cross the Canada–U.S. border and be able to commute to Toronto, Ontario for work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on cross-border routes between Canada and the United States.
- Transport freight between Ontario and West Coast destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documentation.
- Ensure cargo is secured and delivered safely and on schedule.
- Comply with all Canadian, U.S., DOT, and company safety regulations.
- Report vehicle issues, delays, accidents, or incidents promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's License.
- MELT (Mandatory Entry-Level Training) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable AZ driving experience.
- Valid passport and legal ability to cross the Canada–U.S. border.
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
- Strong knowledge of Hours of Service regulations.
- Ability to commute to Toronto, Ontario.
- Professional attitude and strong commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cross-border driving experience.
- Reefer (temperature-controlled trailer) experience is an asset.
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
- Knowledge of cross-border shipping and customs documentation.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- $0.60 per mile at start during probation period for dispatched miles.
- Drivers who successfully complete their assigned longhaul / shorthaul run, maintain safety standards, submit all required paperwork on time, and fulfill all job responsibilities
