Excel Welding is seeking an apprentice welder with experience doing custom fabrication, welding and repairs. Candidate must be open to changing work loads, open to new tasks, willing to learn new skills and able to work in a team environment. Candidate will be responsible for completing various projects that require a level of expertise and due diligence. These projects may include welding, cutting material, grinding. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn fabrication and welding to apply those skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the fabrication and welding of parts and structures of machines and other fabricated metal products.
- Work with tools, such as wrenches, power tools, welding machines, grinders and drill presses, ironworker, brake and shear.
- Work with slings, lifting components and overhead cranes.
- Don all safety equipment to work in an environment that is loud or contains dust or smoke.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
