Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Childcare Services to lead and manage our early childhood education center. This role is vital in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where young children can thrive. As the leader of the garderie, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a team committed to delivering exceptional care and educational experiences. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to the childcare center, setting high standards for quality care and education.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, program planning, and ensuring adherence to licensing regulations.
- Recruit, train, and support a team of qualified caregivers and educators with a focus on early childhood education best practices.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational curricula that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster strong relationships with families by maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and encouraging family involvement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by enforcing health and safety protocols consistently.
- Collaborate with staff to incorporate inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working directly with young children in early childhood settings.
- Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; knowledge of inclusive caregiving strategies is highly valued.
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and teaching methodologies.
- Experience in caregiving roles within childcare environments, emphasizing nurturing and developmental support.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of educators and caregivers.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements for childcare centers and commitment to maintaining compliance at all times.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with families, staff, and community partners.
