The House Attendant assists Room Attendants by transporting linens, supplies and disposing of trash.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team

Willingness to accept the most effective role.

Complete daily duties in accordance with Kaizen processes and procedures.

Collect and transport dirty linen and garbage from departed rooms to appropriate locations.

Deliver clean bed and bath linens from laundry to storerooms.

Keep storerooms clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Ensure corridors remain clear of obstructions and clean.

Communicate with the Floor Manager regarding special requests or additional duties.

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and security regulations.

Close with an open mentality.

Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
-
Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.

Deliver irons, ironing boards, amenities, and other guest requests within 10 minutes.

Collect and return previously used guest items found in rooms or hallways to storage.

Regularly disinfect all high-touch surfaces in assigned areas.

Adhere to HotSOS guidelines consistently.

Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Financial
-
Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.

Assesses quantities of stock in storeroom upon arrival and restock inventory if necessary.
Qualifications & Traits
-
Familiar with housekeeping including sanitation, laundry operations, and guest service.
Physical Requirements
-
Capable of walking, standing, crawling, bending, stretching, twisting, and climbing for the duration of your shift.
-
Capable of kneeling, crouching, lifting up to and including above your head, and repetitive movements.

Dexterity of the hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.

Occasionally lifting above the head.

Pushing, pulling turning heavy carts, up to 50lbs.

Stripping a bed, including bunk beds by climbing a ladder, getting on to the bed.

Climbing up to 4 flights of stairs.

Working at a fast pace.
-
Lifting bags of linen and garbage, ability to lift into laundry shute and compactor.

Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Additional Requirements
Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
