Job description:
We are a private household in Unionville, ON seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care for our child in our home.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for child in employer’s residence
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Organize activities such as games, crafts, and outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care (e.g., laundry, tidying up, cleaning play areas)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and living areas
- Clean and sanitize toys and child-related items
Qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Previous experience in child care is an asset
- Responsible, reliable, and patient
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills in English
