Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Property Accountant will be called upon to work in a dynamic team for our residential division, a division in full swing. The incumbent of the position will be responsible for monthly accounting, monitoring the operational budget and the capital budget, establishing forecasts and the annual budget as well as preparing annual audit files for real estate assets that will be assigned to you.
- Check the various monthly and year-end reconciliations prepared
- Compile and analyze financial information provided by property managers and partners
- Coordinate the receipt on a monthly basis of all financial data provided by property managers and partners and validate the content
- Coordinate treasury operations
- Ensure execution of internal controls put in place
- Monitor management and financial reports monthly and compare them with approved budgets
- Oversee the annual budget process
- Participate in special projects assigned to them
- Present financial information and budget to your client
- Respond to customer requests, both internal and external, and prepare for meetings with customers
- Take care of audit files as part of the annual audit
- Between 5 and 7 years of experience in accounting
- Hold the CPA title
- Excellent priority management

- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
- Excellent command of MS Office software, particularly Excel
- Have knowledge of the HOPEM accounting system, an asset
