Strategic Protection Group (SPG) is seeking experienced security and protection professionals to join our growing team as Independent Contractors. We specialize in executive protection, corporate security, event security, risk mitigation, and high-profile client services throughout British Columbia and beyond.
All positions are contractor-based and require individuals to maintain their own licensing, insurance, and business registrations where applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- Minimum 6 years of security experience
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Corporate security
- Concierge security
- Event security
- Retail loss prevention
- Mobile patrol
- Access control operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background screening
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Supervisory experience
- Military, law enforcement, or corrections background
- Experience working with VIPs or executive clients

Contractor Requirements
- Business registration (sole proprietorship or corporation)
- Commercial General Liability Insurance
- Valid security licensing
- Ability to invoice for services rendered
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
