Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable general dental practice in West Edmonton to cover for vacation leave of our regular associate. The Associate will be working in the clinic 3 days a week as per following schedule, however flexible work arrangement maybe possible. However the length of the contract may be extended, if required.
Monday, Wednesday: 9 am - 5 pm
Tuesday: 12 pm - 8 pm
We have a great team of professionals at the clinic and are quite busy every day. The associate will be paid a percentage of collections, however a minimum daily payment will be guaranteed to the associate. This is a great opportunity for any new graduate or associate who want to move to Edmonton.
Duties
- Performing dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administering local anesthesia and performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals, implants.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as, Cleardent
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry
- DDS and license to practice in Alberta as Dentist
- Specialization or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus
Pay: $10,000.00-$25,000.00 per month
