We are seeking a skilled, Registered Physiotherapist to join our Generations team, for a full-time or part-time position. Generations Sport & Spine Physiotherapy Centre has two private, out-patient physiotherapist-owned clinics located in Welland and Niagara Falls. Our state-of-the-art clinic in Welland also offers a full fitness center and aquatics program in addition to physiotherapy and massage services.
Position Description:
Our mission is to provide physiotherapy interventions in a caring, professional, and affable environment. We offer spinal manipulation, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, spinal decompression therapy, Graston-Certified staff, Vestibular Rehabilitation, ShockWave Therapy, aquatics therapy as well as traditional physiotherapy rehabilitation for post-operative, orthopedic conditions, and MVA and WSIB cases. Our goal is to provide the latest evidence-based, innovative clinical management techniques to enhance healing, recovery, and function. This will optimize a person's engagement in daily function, sport, work, and overall wellness. Our clinic prides itself on hands-on physiotherapy treatments augmented by other modalities.
We offer competitive wages (wages negotiable), with the option to grow within our rapidly expanding company, as well as health/dental benefit programs and annual educational allowances. We provide semi-annual bonuses as well and other incentives will be discussed on an individual basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and evaluating movement, strength, and function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Deliver therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and home exercise programs
- Support rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or illness to promote independence and recovery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Promote overall health and wellness through preventative care strategies
Position Requirements:
Regulated and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Interested in working in a private clinic setting and in practicing a hands-on approach augmented by treatment modalities as listed above. Work well in a team environment, organized, personable, empathetic. New grad applications accepted.
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
