The Role
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and high-agency Program Manager to help drive execution across a strategic clinical AI collaboration.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at the intersection of AI, healthcare research, and startup operations. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, clinicians, and leadership to keep complex projects moving quickly and effectively.
You do not need deep expertise in AI or medicine. We care far more about:

- communication,
- ownership,
- organization,
- professionalism,
- and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for someone who wants steep learning, meaningful responsibility, and direct exposure to cutting-edge AI work in healthcare.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day program management across a strategic clinical AI collaboration
- Drive coordination across AI/ML, data science, imaging, clinical research, and operational teams
- Track timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Ensure accountability and follow-through across cross-functional stakeholders
- Support multimodal data coordination and research operations
- Lead operational rhythms including meetings, documentation, action tracking, and stakeholder communication
- Help coordinate benchmarking, validation, reporting, and publication workflows
- Build scalable operational processes for future research and clinical AI partnerships
- Translate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help maintain high execution velocity in a fast-moving startup environment
Who You Are
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as health sciences, engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or clinical background is an asset.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical workflows, or medical research processes is beneficial, as is experience with digital health, health IT, or clinical AI products.
- 1–4 years of experience in program management, project coordination, operations, consulting, research coordination, startups, or related environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written communication and professionalism
- High ownership mentality with strong follow-through
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environments
- Interest in AI, healthcare, biomedical research, or emerging technology
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient-centered use of AI in healthcare.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in startups or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with healthcare, research, or technical teams
- Experience using tools like Notion, Asana, Jira, Airtable, or similar
- Experience coordinating cross-functional or external collaborations

Compensation
Job Type: Full-time (12-month renewable contract)
Location: Hybrid remote – Toronto, ON (M5S 1A8)
Salary: CAD $75,000 – $95,000
Compensation will depend on experience, skillset, and alignment with the role.
