About our Project Manager
What you will do
We mainly work on custom homes, providing installation of quartz and natural stone countertops. As our project manager, you will be responsible to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will measure and generate shop drawings of countertops, fireplaces, showers, and other areas that require stone or quartz surfacing, and work together with our production and installation teams to ensure that the project stays on track.
What you will bring
- Must have a good understanding of finishing carpentry, millwork and construction
- Have experience working in residential environments
- Good computer skills
- Must be proficient in reading and understanding plans, specifications, shop drawings and project schedules
- Knowledge of Autocad to create and update detailed shop drawings to be used for fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality and control
- Effectively communicate with our team of estimators, fabricators and installers
- Ability to manage schedules to ensure the highest level of customer service, including communicating with general contractors, home builders, designers, and architects
- Ability to adapt and solve problems for maintaining project control
- Experience with construction and/or building is an asset
- Experience with Project Management of at least 2 years is an asset
- Must have Valid BC Drivers License. You will visit project locations to take detailed site measurements and collect critical details
