Pay: $30.00+ per hour, based on experience

Potential: Ongoing part-time or full-time work for the right candidate
East Coast Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team for an upcoming residential construction project.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, skilled, confident leading a small crew, and takes pride in producing professional-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a small construction crew
- Residential framing and general carpentry
- Roofing
- House wrap and exterior preparation
- Vinyl siding
- Soffit and fascia installation
- Window and exterior door installation
- Read plans, take measurements, and complete layouts
- Coordinate daily tasks and help keep the project on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with the owner, crew, and client
Qualifications
- Strong residential carpentry or construction experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Comfortable working at heights
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic hand tools considered an asset
- Strong understanding of job-site safety
