Position Summary
We are seeking a high-impact Account Manager to lead strategic account growth, client retention, and operational excellence across our co-packing portfolio.
This role is critical to the company's growth strategy and our commitment to delivering operational excellence, value creation, and long-term partnerships within the healthcare and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day commercial and operational activities. This includes overseeing project execution from quotation through delivery, coordinating material procurement, managing timelines, and ensuring successful program implementation.
Beyond day-to-day account management, the successful candidate will build strong strategic relationships with clients, identify opportunities to improve operational performance, deliver continuous improvement initiatives, and drive profitable growth through new projects and expanded business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
- Own the strategic growth plans for assigned healthcare and CPG clients.
- Identify opportunities for volume expansion, SKU growth, automation, and cost optimization.
- Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients, focusing on performance, risk mitigation, and growth initiatives.
- Develop long-term partnership strategies aligned with client supply chain and commercialization objectives.
Client Retention & Operational Excellence
- Support onboarding of new clients and site transitions when required.
- Monitor KPIs including service levels, OTIF, quality metrics, and production adherence.
- Lead cross-functional issue resolution for supply disruptions, material shortages, or production delays.
- Conduct gap analyses and drive corrective actions to protect service and margin.
Material Procurement & Cost Optimization
- Ensure timely delivery of materials by management multiple suppliers to deliver on time delivery and consistent quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely material availability, improved service levels, and continuity of supply to support production schedules and client commitments.
- Identify opportunities for material standardization, automation compatibility, and cost efficiency across client portfolios.
- Support vendor performance management and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in account or program management, client strategy, or commercial operations.
- Experience in co-packing, contract manufacturing, healthcare, or CPG preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with internal teams, vendors and customers to achieve objectives
- Send of urgency, attention to detail, proven analytical skills
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office and AI tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, well organised with the ability to take charge
