Network Administrator
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Network Administrator for a 24-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Winnipeg, Manitoba office.
Network Administrator - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Network Administrator to provide advanced administration and operational support for enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring secure, highly available, and performance-optimized network services, including LAN, WAN, cloud connectivity, and security platforms.
Network Administrator - Responsibilities:
- Administer and support LAN, WAN connectivity, and data centre networking environments
- Monitor network availability, capacity, and performance, taking proactive actions
- Support Azure and AVS networking, including ExpressRoute configuration
- Implement firewall rule changes and support security compliance activities
- Manage Aruba/HPE wireless infrastructure for high performance and coverage
- Support networking for high-performance compute environments
Network Administrator - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years in enterprise network administration
- Experience in large, multi-site or hybrid environments
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP
- Experience with Cisco switching and Check Point firewalls
- Azure networking and ExpressRoute experience
- Citrix NetScaler / ADC experience
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Network Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- CCNP or higher certification
- Azure Network Engineer Associate certification
- Aruba / HPE Wireless Certifications
- Check Point / Cisco Security Certifications
- Experience with Bluecoat proxy solutions
Network Administrator – Assignment Length:
The assignment is 6-month with a possible extension to 24 month!
