Job Overview
Torres Prime Cabinets & Appliances Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Appliance & Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a variety of household and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, and other related equipment.
We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, and other household appliances.
- Perform maintenance and inspections to prevent future equipment failures.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain repairs and maintenance recommendations.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Follow all safety procedures related to electrical systems, refrigerants, and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain company tools and service vehicle in good condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience repairing appliances and refrigeration systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, controls, and diagnostics.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, and stoves.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License (preferred).
- Ability to lift heavy appliances and work independently.
- Refrigeration or HVAC experience is considered an asset.
