CHEF/MANAGER

Our client is an established Vancouver based multi-brand Restaurant Group with multiple locations, that is introducing their Tucci’s Italian Restaurant Operation.
They require a Chef/Manager (Pizza Chef or Pastry Chef) to manage corporate locations of their new Italian concept.
This initial opportunity will be located on Mount Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver, so we require someone who is a resident of North Vancouver.
This position will appeal to certified chefs with 3-7 years of related experience.
You will be the driving force leading, directing and motivating a crew of Italian sandwich makers, pizzaiolos, pasta cooks and bakers in the Tucci’s Italian concept.
TUCCI’s is a trattoria-style, fast casual Italian eatery with counter and table service, offering a high-quality Italian and Italian-American menu featuring house-baked Focaccia Sandwiches, Italian Rolls, New York style Pizza, Pasta, fresh Salads, and in-house bakery. It also features premium beverages, beer and wine, served through a family-friendly dine-in, takeout, and delivery format daily, focused on fresh ingredients, generous portions and exceptional value. TUCCI’S is a food lover’s indulgence, focused on meals reminiscent of old-school Italian eateries and traditional Italian family-owned deli-restaurants.
1. You will assist in:
· Current restaurant start – up
· Crew interviewing / training, scheduling and food demos prior to launching
2. You have 3-7 years’ experience in the industry as either a Certified Chef or equivalent
· Pizza Chef or Pastry Chef
· Seeking a career-focused role with development opportunity with a progressive large scale/entrepreneurial restaurant group
· Experience in Food Service Management
· Working with a senior team on on-going food features
· Training/coaching and developing a top-notch crew
· Scheduling
· Food and labour costing efficiencies/control
· Managing the made in house fresh program and rotating feature schedules
· Developing guest relations and community engagement leading to guest loyalty programs

· Base Salary: $75,000-$80,000 starting, 5-day work week
