Whistler Photo Safaris is hiring Wilderness 4x4 Drivers & Bear Viewing Guides for the summer season!
If you love the outdoors, enjoy meeting people from around the world, and want a job that gets you off the beaten path, this is a unique opportunity to work in Whistler’s backcountry while guiding unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Job Duties
- Lead guided bear viewing tours in 4x4 vehicles
- Safely drive on forest service roads and off-road terrain
- Share knowledge of local wildlife, ecology, and Whistler history
- Provide exceptional guest experiences to small groups
- Spot and interpret wildlife behavior (especially black bears)
- Ensure safety of guests at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 or 5 BC Driver’s License (will be required)
- Clean driving record
- First Aid Certification (required before start date)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- Previous guiding or tourism experience
- Off-road driving experience
- Photography skills
