Job Overview
We are seeking a experienced mechanics for heavy duty trucks and construction equipment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in hydraulics, electrical, welding, and construction equipment.
This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and construction equipment.
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Hydraulics
- Knowledgeable and skilled working with construction equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Electrical systems related to diesel vehicles and equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Welding
- Proficiency in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required for various repair tasks.
- Capability to assemble components accurately based on specifications.
- Knowledge of how to dig safely around equipment during repairs.
