Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bencher Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for refining and finishing metal and other material surfaces to meet quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with various machining tools, and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products. The Polisher plays a vital part in ensuring our products meet precise specifications and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Operate benching and polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes on manufactured Aluminum parts
- Polishing, buffing and sanding metals
- Perform surface preparation, grinding, buffing, and polishing tasks according to specifications to achive the required finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with machining, assembly, and quality control teams to meet production goals
- Safely operating equipment as needed
- Maintain a consistant, high-quality standards
Skills and Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments
- Experience working with statinless steel and aluminum
- Skilled in the use of hand tools
- Knowledge of quality inspection standards and procedures
- Ability to work with various materials including metals and composites
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 1-2 years of experience working with metal finishing is required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship and quality assurance
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently in a manufacturing setting
