Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where hospitality and excellent service are valued. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Manage multiple drink orders while maintaining quality and speed of service
- Cooking
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to legal drinking age regulations
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
