Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager for a summer contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, SEO practices, and the ability to analyze data to drive engagement and growth.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content tailored for different platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Conduct research to identify target audiences and optimize content accordingly.
- Utilize SEO best practices to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to our website.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing goals.
- Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Design visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Illustrator for social media posts.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
