The Role
The Fitness Coach is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and motivating fitness instruction that supports the performance, wellbeing, and confidence of CourtX members. This role leads group fitness classes and may provide personal training, helping members build strength, mobility, endurance, and athletic capacity—while reinforcing CourtX’s premium, community-driven club experience.
Expected Outcomes:
Members receive engaging, effective, and safe fitness instruction.
- Deliver motivating group fitness classes in alignment with CourtX standards.
- Provide personalized training session tailored to individual goals and abilities.
- Maintain knowledge of current fitness trends, training techniques, and health practices.
- Ensure training spaces are safe, welcoming, and prepared for every session.
Fitness class programming is thoughtfully developed to meet member needs and support club goals.
- Contribute to the design and scheduling of group fitness offerings that balance variety, demand, and instructor availability.
- Collaborate with the team to identify gaps and opportunities for new classes and formats.
- Evaluate class participation and feedback to refine programming over time.
Member relationships strengthen retention and community
- Build strong rapport with members through consistent, positive interactions.
- Encourage regular participation through goal-setting, accountability, and member follow-up.
- Support member engagement by contributing to events, challenges, and community moments.

Skills/Experience Required
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor and/or Personal Trainer through a recognized provider (canfitpro, CPTN, NASM, ISSA, ACE or equivalent)
- Experience leading group fitness classes with confident coaching presence, strong energy, and clear cueing.
- Solid understanding of safe movement patterns, exercise progressions/regressions, and injury-aware coaching
- Ability to coach a range or fitness levels – from beginner to experienced members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first mindset
Working Conditions
- On-site presence required for all scheduled hours.
- Fast-paced, high-energy setting within a premium sports and social club.
- Flexibility schedule required to include evenings, weekends, and events as needed.
