Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to event specifications and dietary requirements
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas during and after events
- Manage food inventory, including storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within the restaurant or catering industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Excellent serving skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience with familiarity in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food industry best practices for hygiene and safety
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
- Prior restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable
