Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Detailer / Project Coordinator (Rebar) to join our engineering and construction team. This role is vital in ensuring precise rebar detailing, project coordination, and seamless communication between design and fabrication teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in CAD software and drafting, with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency in construction projects involving rebar detailing. Duties
- Develop detailed rebar shop drawings and schematics using advanced CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks
- Coordinate project workflows between design teams, fabricators, and field personnel to ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and schematics to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Utilize 2D animation techniques for visualizing complex rebar configurations and construction sequences
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining meticulous records of revisions, approvals, and communications
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design intent and translate it into detailed fabrication drawings
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and provide technical support during project execution
- Ensure all drawings adhere to drafting standards, safety protocols, and quality control procedures
Experience
- Proven experience as a Rebar Detailer or Draftsman with a strong portfolio of completed projects involving structural steel or reinforced concrete detailing
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and SketchUp is essential
- Familiarity with schematics creation, drafting techniques, and construction documentation processes
- Knowledge of construction practices related to reinforced concrete structures and steel reinforcement fabrication
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications accurately
- Prior experience coordinating projects within a team environment is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
This role requires a dedicated professional committed to precision in design and project coordination within the construction industry. Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
