We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed.
- Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner.
- Use communication skills to promote store promotions and loyalty programs.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising accuracy.
- Uphold phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and organizing displays as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are essential.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (especially English) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and technical sales can be advantageous.
